Mom passed away today, and while not unexpected, it still hurts. I know her spirit is engaged in a game of Scrabble with her Aunt Nannie & mother, with her Uncle Tom & Dad & grandson (who passed before her) not too far off talking trash & frowning at the state of current events.

For the 4th time in the last 5 years, the Texas Longhorns and AD Chris Del Conte have won the NACDA Directors' Cup for being the nations top overall athletic department. Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches and staff for winning this prestigious award! Photo: Kyle Umlang

2 yrs ago 1 of my students, wicked smart + anger issues (not with me)did 70 avg work but also nearly got a perfect score on the state test. Has been doing comm. service hrs with me this yr. When they graded papers: quick to mark "-1/2 SW" more rigorously than I would have done!
