All our local libraries are closing from May due to lack of funding, plus many other services. Darcy & I spend several hours a week in our libraries, enjoying books, groups and meeting other mums. They’re warm, safe & a lifeline for many. This is heartbreaking. South Lanarkshire Council

Last week South Lanarkshire Council & SLLC (This page is monitored during office hours) confirmed that services will be "withdrawn" at 7 libraries & 28 community halls inc. Cambuslang & Halfway Libraries (& those in Blantyre, Bothwell & Hillhouse), Eastfield Community Centre, N.Halfway Hall & Peter Brownlee Pavilion .../1
