TY students benefited from a life skills workshop today, learning how to start and maintain conversations, learning dining etiquette and how to iron to name but a few activities.

A hugely successful Careers Fair in Marino with over 40 professionals who volunteered their time to share their experiences & answer questions from our 3rd & 5th year students. Thank you to all of the participants for making it such a resounding success #CAW2024 #CityofDublinETB

TY students visited the National Portrait Prize Exhibit at the National Gallery of Ireland and also learned how to take the best and interesting photos around the city this morning.

TAP ambassador Joel from Trinity College came to talk to our 6th years about HEAR, DARE and TAP. today. The perfect was to wrap up a successful College Awareness Week #CAW2024

Several students were recognised for their positive contribution to the school, excellent attendance and great engagement by having tea with the DP. 2 of our students wonderfully represented Marino in the Rising Stars showcase hosted by Inchicore College of Further Education.

TY's had a wonderful time at DCU. They enjoyed a campus tour and attended two brilliant VR and Lego workshops.

Plenty of talent and music performances at our annual Christmas concert today. Well done to the participating students across all the year groups and thanks to the music department for organising such a great show. Delighted to have so many parents/guardians join us.

Some of our wonderful students visited the Fairveiw Community Unit to spread some Christmas joy to the patients there. They decorated some of their entertainment rooms and sang carols while giving out some Christmas treats.

As a proud Champion School of Sanctuary, we celebrate the incredible talent, culture, and resilience our students bring to our community. We know how challenging it can be to live far away from friends, grandparents, and even beloved pets. Your courage and strength inspire us.

Today is the start of Wellbeing Week. We started off with a fitness workshop to energise the students. This was followed by wellbeing scones, afternoon tea for teachers, prepared by our LCA class. Take a look at the wellbeing board of quotes prepared by our SNA Grainne.

Our TY students took to the tracks at Kylemore Karting for the day recently. It was a super day of racing. Huge congratulations to Alexandru for winning the final race.

A busy week for students with tours at The Rediscovery Centre, The Gibson Hotel and the Insurance Institute of Ireland.   This week we are also filling up our Multilingual Love Notes Wall with messages of kindness, Meanwhile the life skills class whipped up some pancakes!
