Kicked off Make Music Day right here in District H! As Vice Chair of the Arts & Culture, I’m proud to help champion this global celebration of music. Grateful to Fresh Arts, the French Consulate, & all our partners for bringing such creative energy to today’s events across HTX.

Spent time with our seniors at Navidad en el Barrio at Ripley House—shared a meal, caught up with neighbors, danced a little, and helped judge the dance contest. Grateful to everyone who makes this celebration possible. It’s what community is all about.

Due to severe weather, today's Public Safety Round Table in Independence Heights is postponed. We will reschedule, as having an open discussion about what we can do to keep District H neighborhoods safe is fundamental to what we do.
