Warren County Sheriff’s are investigating a drowning death on Lake George in Harris Bay around 5:20PM. Authorities say a group on a pontoon boat stopped to swim. A woman went under and didn’t resurface. The driver of the boat was arrested for boating while intoxicated.

Several incidents occurred on lower Madison Ave minutes after Albany’s annual fireworks @plazaevents ended. A stampede of people ran down the street in front of me at the NYS museum yelling shots were fired. At the same time, a fire engulfed a house near Madison & S Swan St.

Four people shot in Albany, one critically injured, an arson and a police office hurt his leg in the chaos. All of this, according to Chief Brendan Cox happened within minutes of the fireworks wrapping up at the plaza. ⁦Spectrum News 1 Albany⁩

Albany Police are on the scene of another shooting on Livingston Avenue. Five people were taken to the hospital, according to police.
