Today, we welcomed a group to Belfast’s waterfront to complete the Blueway Trail as part of #learningcities We bumped into Ulster Wildlife who shared facts about the biodiversity of the Oyster Farm at Donegall Quay & even gave a close up of some Native Oysters!

Today we attended the wreath-laying ceremony at Belfast City Council Titanic Memorial Gardens, to reflect & remember the lives lost & all those affected by the sinking of RMS Titanic 113 years ago. #Titanic113

We’ve been rolling up our sleeves for a greener waterfront! Planting is now underway at Queen’s Quay – bringing new colour, biodiversity and new habitats to the Maritime Mile. It’s all part of our journey to create a more sustainable waterfront for the city.

Kicking off the day at Visit Belfast’s 2025–26 Business Plan Launch at Titanic Belfast. Lots to take away - especially around how we continue to evolve and energise Belfast’s waterfront as a space for locals and visitors alike. #MaritimeMile #BelfastTourism

In March 2024, we installed people counters along the Maritime Mile. Since then, we’ve recorded 5.4M pedestrian journeys, with 400K in May alone during #NationalWalkingMonth! This data will shape future development of a more vibrant, connected waterfront. #MaritimeMile

Heads up to our guests visiting today and tomorrow! Heavy traffic is anticipated in Titanic Quarter during AVA Festival until 11pm. Also, access to the Great Light will be available via Queen's Road during this time, as the Titanic Slipways are closed and will reopen on Sunday.

We are delighted to partner with Belfast TradFest for the 4th consecutive year to deliver the Titanic Céilí, taking place on the Slipways this Sunday. We invite everyone to join us this for this free, celebration of traditional music and dance on Belfast’s historic waterfront!
