With the No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston. The fastest player at the NFL scouting combine, Hairston ran a 4.28-second 40-yard dash.

Brandon Beane comes into his post draft appearance on WGR 550 FIRED UP. “Sounds like 2018 all over. You guys were bitching about Josh Allen. You wanted Josh Rosen & now you’re bitching that we don’t have a receiver. I don’t get it. … You just saw us lead the league in points.”

Rarely do we see a GM so fired up than Brandon Beane was this AM when he overheard questions about the Bills wide receivers and their decision to not prioritize it in the NFL Draft.

There are a lot of ways to manufacture offense and put points on the board in the NFL. Having as many of the five eligibles be studs is obviously ideal, but it's not a requirement. Chasing a receiver in the draft at the cost of players you have graded higher is a much faster way

Suddenly the narrative is being twisted. Beane was criticized for not drafting a WR. Moore was scheduled to visit Buffalo before everything blew up. The Bills signed Moore. And now it’s: AHA! Instead of: Beane followed his board and then addressed a need post draft.

Michael Jordan went 25-1 in the last 26 playoff series of his career. LeBron’s 2-4 the past five years and also missed the playoffs once. There is no comparison.
