Just finished an amazing public safety town hall hosted by me, Mayor James Coleman & SouthSanFranciscoPD Chief Scott Campbell. Thank you to the residents from Westborough & throughout the city who came out in a Friday night. Public safety will continue to be a top priority for me.

The rain couldn’t stop a great Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by SSF Parks & Recreation. Thank you to our amazing staff for putting smiling faces on so many families, including mine.

Thank you to the amazing volunteers that came out to Westborough Park to plant new trees for our Arbor Day celebration. Definitely one of my favorite events to do since being on the city council. Great job to our amazing SSF Parks & Recreation for organizing.

The rain won’t ruin our Every Kid Deserves a Bike Event. Watching kids smile after getting a free bike is amazing. Thanks to Ponderosa, Buri Buri, & my kid’s school Monte Verde for participating. Great job by South San Francisco and Silicon Valley Bike Coalition . Even Boba Fett helped; #MayThe4th be with you.

Thrilled to be in South San Francisco today to celebrate the first day of Pride Month! Thank you Mayor James Coleman, Vice Mayor Mayor Eddie Flores, Councilmembers Mark Nagales & Buenaflor Nicolas for inviting me to join the community for your first citywide Pride celebration!

Thank you to Assemblymember Diane Papan for fighting for San Mateo County. VLF funds are essential to our cities. If included in the final budget it will provide necessary budget relief. David Burruto smdailyjournal.com/news/local/bud…

Not what I was looking for nationally, but the South City electorate didn’t let me down, sending SSFUSD Trustee Pat Murray, she/her, Amy Lam, Mark Nagales, and James Coleman to office!

Join District 2 Councilmember Mark Nagales for a Neighborhood Town Hall at Alice Bulos Community Center on Wed., March 19. Get updates on public safety, traffic, and childcare expansion, plus a Q&A session. Refreshments and childcare provided. RSVP: D2TownHall2025.eventbrite.com
