No runners today or over the weekend; could be back in action on Tuesday Nottingham Racecourse

No runners today or tomorrow; but a busier week up coming with five horses engaged Bath Racecourse Wednesday; inc the week handicapped Monks Mead; Arlecchino's Gift goes to Nottingham Racecourse Tuesday afternoon.

Arlecchino's Gift, eased a lb to 60, goes to Nottingham Racecourse for the ft since 2021; only 6 runners & he has every chance if you forgive him the last three runs; he seems overpriced at 20s, particularly if you can find a place market down to 3 places; he should run well.

Shades of May goes to Leicester Racecourse for the 6f Classified; ft Visor, might have 10lbs to find on last 5 runs but will have a chance if getting back to 3rd Chelmsford City Racecourse in Jan; hard to predict & today will help inform us of where to go with him.

Shades of May didn't think much of 6f on quickish ground on the Leicester Racecourse gradients; going back up in trip & perhaps to the aw beckons. No runners today, Willingly goes to Haydock Park Races tomorrow evening, the more rain the better.

Willingly goes to Haydock Park Races this evening for their 5f Fillies H'cap; not so much rain over the last 36 hrs & any showers would be just the thing; u have to forgive her last start but she does have a serious ew chance on what she achieved Chepstow Races at the end of May.

On her Chepstow Races run she does seem overpriced at 28s & 33s in a dead 8 race; ew is the thing & hopefully the rain will arrive.

The rain didn't much arrive for Willingly Haydock Park Races & she faded in the last furlong; soft ground is the real key to her, she will be eased again and we won;t write her off if we can find the soft ground.

Heerathetrack runs for the ft under Rules Stratford Racecourse since his abortive run @lingfieldpark Nov 23; he pulled terribly hard on that run & the aim today is to get him settled jumping; how he gets on will help inform us as to desirability of putting hurdles in front of him

Miss Ayala goes to Windsor Racecourse in tomorrow evening's 6f Fillies Novice; & will obtain a mark; she is one to look at in Nurseries after tomorrow.

Heerathetrack might prefer seven furlongs round Chelmsford City Racecourse or Kempton Park Racecourse than 16 & 8 hurdles Stratford Racecourse but he did run a little better than his previous start under Rules & will only have to run once more to be eligible for Novice H'caps.

Miss Ayala will achieve a mark Windsor Racecourse this evening; she has show ability in both her starts & we hope she will be nicely effective in Nurseries over seven after this evening.

Keep an eye on Miss Ayala in the right grade of Nursery going forward; she ran a nice race Windsor Racecourse last night just fading in the last furlong & Tyler Heard was not hard on her close home.

Slightly harder to form a judgement about Arlecchino's Rex Wolverhampton Races He looked real progressive when bolting up over c&d last November but hasn't quit run to that over his last 5 starts; & not quite seeming to finish his races.

Now down to 54 (3lbs above when won), well drawn & v pleased to have Jason Watson who has an excellent record in these colours; he is clearly capable of winning this evening but not so easy to predict.

Arlecchino's Rex got himself back on track with an improved performance Wolverhampton Races ; might not have quite got the best of passages on the turn in & he showed he is capable of winning off this mark. youtu.be/x6dn1edXSXk

Monks Mead & Almizam both run in Salisbury Racecourse 7f Amateur Handicap; MM is a well h'capped horse & has run well the last twice; he has to cope with the trip but he has the best theoretical chance in the race on the book.

He should run well and have an excellent, competitive ew chance & is surely overpriced at 9s and 10s.

Harder to form a judgement about Almizan whose form has a slightly inconsistent look to it; she seems to have around a stone to find with MM & how she gets on today will help inform us of where to go with her.
