I was making Valentine’s Day cards in Irish today with first years and one of them asked me if I had a valentine and I said no because I’m in love with Irish and then they called me a loser

Pilot programme to transfer patronage of school to secular bodies has had very little uptake. Only 1 school converted in 2022. Miles off 400 by 2030 target. Seems logical to divest - but requires agreement of local school community. Most are pushing back against it?
