SHE DID IT AGAIN! Wisdom, the world’s oldest known wild bird, is back with a new partner and just laid yet another egg. At an approximate age of 74, the queen of seabirds returned to Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge last week and began interacting with a male.

Spot the #Hull #Gannet (easier if you're on board the docked ferry!) - one of 20 we had - as well as seven Little Auks, from incidental obs 1130-1445 at Saltend while conducting other surveys. We're well upstream here, so it was pleasing to get some stormy seabird action...

Over on the coast to see family yesterday, fitted in a late a.m session on the Brigg #Filey - three Little Auks, three Little Gulls, four Great Northern Divers, 30 Purple Sands the pick.
