I just landed in Oxford for the #NbsConferenceOxford and walked to one of my favorite places in the city. It is still there, with its huge branches perfectly manicured. Looking forward to hearing more about Nbs! Nature-based Solutions Initiative @UniofOxford Natural Environment Research Council

Such an inspiring opening speech by Prof Nathalie Seddon, Oxford ! We need to change the whole system, to slow down and reconnect with nature 🌍 🎯During the conference we’ll co-create an action plan to scale up Natura Based Solutions for #COP30! #NbSConferenceOxford #growingpositivechange

Great to hear some insights about previous UK Climate Change Risk Assessment plans by @KathrynABrown “simple things may have the biggest impact”! And, do we need to measure and give a value to everything? (Maybe not!) #nbsconferenceoxford Research at University of Liverpool University of Oxford

Session4 panelist Mike Morecroft Natural England highlights there is good evidence that NbS work for biodiversity & climate change in particular contexts but also evidence of failures - we need to understand which factors support success & to learn by doing #growingpositivechange
