Ok the update to the SOFT and TEXT trial is critically important for the general onc community. Please do not put young women on tamoxifen alone as a default. Ovarian suppression and aromatase inhibitor (not tam) is lifesaving. It’s more important than chemo for many #ASCO25

Completely agree. Many women make the choice to receive chemo for a benefit less than this. It's HUGE! Ovarian suppression and AI is a powerful tool to decrease recurrences.

This is the question I’d like answered. Do ppl actually know/understand how to dose and manage these heavy-duty drugs long-term? I’ve been on H for over 10 years & many are like me. Is there a plan or an idea for maintenance or stopping treatment/monitoring? #cancer ASCO

Chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy is a serious (&lasting; for me 10 yrs and counting) side effect for quality of life. You may think it’s managed by meds but it isn’t, you may think “a little tingling/numbness” is nbd but it isn’t. Glad to see this being talked about #cancer
