I was pleased to meet with Trussell volunteers with John Grady MP to hear more about their work in foodbanks across Glasgow and the Trust’s ‘Guarantee Our Essentials’ campaign.

It was great to meet with staff at Cranstonhill nursery to discuss road safety for parents and pupils. It was interesting to hear more about their strong community connections and relationships with local organisations.

Growing up in Maryhill, Jessie Stephen dedicated her life to championing workers’ rights, women's suffrage and social justice and I was delighted to tour her exhibition at Maryhill Burgh Halls with curators Aurora and Anabel.
