I’ve been out to check on our project in Bromsgrove. The planting is establishing well and waking up for spring and summer. It includes Geum borisii, Tulipa ‘Green King’ and alliums coming through Nepeta ‘Six Hills Giant’. . #gardendesigner #gardening

This is such a good tulip. T. 'Green King', a good, robust variety and looking great in this Corten steel planter from London Stone at our Bromsgrove project. #gardening #GardenDesigner

Good luck to all those nervously waiting for the judges' verdict at RHS Chelsea. Can't believe it's a year since I was in that position. I'm looking forward to visiting the show next week. 📷 Stephen Studd Photography 📷 RSPCA (England & Wales) The RHS Project Giving Back

The planting is really settling in well on our Cotswold project and bursting with energy from the recent sun. #GardenDesigner #Cotswolds

Today is #worldbeeday so celebrate and supporting our bees. Let’s all make our gardens more bee friendly by introducing pollinator friendly planting and doing away with pesticides. #worldbeeday #worldbeeday2024 #beefriendly #beefriendlygarden Bumblebee Conservation Trust

Captured before the deluge started! I love the contrast of this fiery geum against the rusty tones of the Corten steel planter - supplied by London Stone on our Bromsgrove project. It's always worth thinking about planting colours against containers and other hard landscaping.

Lamium orvala, the balm-leaved red deadnettle, on our Cotswold project. I think the flowers could put a few orchids to shame. It likes a spot in shade and soil that drains well but doesn't dry out. Try it for ground cover or planting under shrubs or roses. #gardening

I planted Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' as a bulb in my garden last autumn and they're now emerging into flower. I love the way the flowers emerge from the bottom up. #gardening #GardenDesigner

Before the build of the garden pavilion started on site for our Cotswold project, the super talented guys at Whittle Earth prepared this amazing model of the proposed building. More to come on the structure as it takes shape. #GardenDesigner #Cotswolds

Many of you who have followed me for a while will know how much bringing bees and pollinators means to me. When I first took on my new garden there was hardly any bird or insect life. Slowly but surely they are making their way in as you can see! 😀🐝 #pollinators #gardening

The team at Whittle Earth have been hard at work constructing the garden pavilion for our Cotswolds project. This amazing and unique structure has been designed in collaboration with our clients and brings some unique features. #gardendesigner #cotswolds

On a site visit in Clifton in #Bristol recently I spotted these pocket parks in this pedestrianised street. I loved the vibrancy of the contemporary planters and the softness the planting brought to the space. It really added to the street scene.

A truly inspiring evening at the Forces in Business Awards excellently hosted by Victoria Derbyshire Great to see so many British forces veterans making a very successful transition from military service to business. Lovely to see the Chelsea Pensioners Singers perform. #exforcesawards

A national disgrace. Having just driven through Germany, Netherlands & France their highways are largely immaculate. The Tories kicked a bottle return scheme into the long grass Keir Starmer Louise Haigh Steve Reed MP you must hold National Highways to account.

Can any entomologists out there please help me identify this busy fella buzzing around the Stachy’s last night? Apologies for grainy images. 😊 Bumblebee Conservation Trust Buglife

It seems there is a visibly alarming absence of insects and pollinators this season across the UK. I am sure Dave Goulson could shed some scientificically reasoned evidence as to the continued decline. Worth reading his books if you have time.

When is it time for dinner, walkies, hometime and zzz-time? Just ask the dog ⏰ We have dogs of every kind trying to sniff out a new family, including some who have been waiting months or even years. If you have a hound-shaped hole in your life, adopt: bit.ly/RSPCA_FindAPet
