Grab the rain gear if you're heading to the parade in downtown Buffalo on Sunday. It'll be windy with scattered showers and t-storms and falling temperatures from the 60s into the 50s and 40s. Much cooler on St. Patrick's Day with skies becoming partly sunny.

Wind Advisories and a High Wind WARNING are in effect today across all of WNY. Gusty winds to 50mph and 60mph will blow down unsecured objects. Use extra caution traveling in a high profile vehicle. 7 News WKBW

At 3:35pm this Sunday, strong to severe t-storms are racing NE across WNY at 55mph. The strongest storms are across the Genesee Valley where severe t-storm warnings are in effect. Damage to roofs, siding and trees is possible. Stay inside and away from windows.

At 4:35pm, the threat of severe weather is winding down across WNY. Severe T-Storm and Tornado watches have been CANCELLED. Gusty winds, colder temperatures and a few spotty showers will push in tonight behind a departing cold front.

It felt like the middle of June at lunchtime today! The Buffalo airport recorded a new record high temperature of 75F just after Noon today. Sunshine and warm air fueled a cold front with showers and t-storms this afternoon, and it's turning sharply colder tonight & tomorrow

Beautiful sunny weather with mild to warm temperatures expected during these last couple of days of Winter. Highs today will top out near 60F with near record highs in the 70s Wednesday. But the first day of Spring will feature falling temps through the 50s and 40s and showers.
