Great workshop from Mary Jenkinson and Maddie Young about developing book talk in EYFS and KS1. Really engaging and lots of practical examples. Very important point about children being able to see themselves reflected in the books they read. #OURfPConf
Even though I've heard Teresa Cremin speak about attitudes to reading and book talk numerous times, I always go away with something new to think about. 'One book won't turn round a child's attitude. They'll need support throughout their entire reading journey.' #OURfPConf
Workshops are underway at the #OURfPConf today in Nottingham. 💙📚 Let us know which workshop you've attended. What was your top take away? ✨ @teresacremin Kelly Ashley #WordPower MoonOnAStick Mary Jenkinson @MrCJordan22 @PrimaryChamp MissW
