Had a blast organizing the GRS with Dr. Kate Johnson and attending it with Cross, Laura and Alexandre Gonzalez last week! Congratulations everyone for your amazing talks and/or posters! 👏🏻👏🏻

Two years ago, I had the honor of being the commencement marshal for one of my lab's first undergraduate researchers. Today, Cross defended his master's thesis & passed with flying colors. I am so impressed w/ his accomplishments & looking forward to another graduation with him!

So impressed with the hard-working students in my lab. Today, Andrew Cinquini, Medelin Kant, and Emily Perry presented their graduate research at the UF SNRE symposium. Way to go! The walls outside our lab are going to be sporting these posters soon if you want to check them out.

Tonight we continued one of my favorite new traditions since moving to Florida—pumpkin carving and painting and a cookout with the lab. Such a fun time!

HUGE congratulations to ecophyslab members Emily Perry for winning Best PhD Poster Presentation Award and Andrew Cinquini for winning the Best MSc Poster Presentation Award at the 2024 UF SNRE research symposium. They work so hard every day, great to see excellence recognized!
