Exciting day for Medelin Kant as a heatwave-atop-drought is finally relieved. Which trees will survive, and which will die? Will growing up in a 'warmer world' be a benefit, or liability? Time will tell. #WhatKillsTrees

Had a blast organizing the GRS with Dr. Kate Johnson and attending it with Cross, Laura and Alexandre Gonzalez last week! Congratulations everyone for your amazing talks and/or posters! 👏🏻👏🏻

So impressed with the hard-working students in my lab. Today, Andrew Cinquini, Medelin Kant, and Emily Perry presented their graduate research at the UF SNRE symposium. Way to go! The walls outside our lab are going to be sporting these posters soon if you want to check them out.

🤩Overjoyed to hear that Dr. Marylou Mantova has secured a permanent position at INRAE! As her PhD co-supervisor (with Hervé Cochard), it’s incredibly rewarding to see her succeed at this level. The @UMR_PIAF umit is lucky to have you back. Congrats, Marylou—so proud of you!😊

Congratulations to PhD student Medelin Kant and undergraduate students Joe and Campbell who delivered outstanding poster presentations at the Plant Science Council at UF Science Symposium today! 🌲🍃

And that’s a wrap on the amazing #XIM6! 🌲🌳🌴A lot of great science and fun in Seville, Spain. 💃 Many thanks to Celia M. Rodriguez-Dominguez and José M. Torres-Ruiz 👏🏻

Talked about modeling tree mortality at Indiana University today🌲🌳👩🏼💻 Thank you for the warm welcome Bloomington!
