A wee trip to Buckingham Palace today for the Smiths - so King Charles wasn’t winding me up about that MBE in his New Years Honours List! An unforgettable experience shared with Daisy, Heidi, Logan and the woman who made it all possible (remember MBE = Mainly Because Elaine)! ❤️

What an honour to be awarded my MBE in the throne room of Buckingham Palace by The Princess Royal. Grateful to have TeamSmith watching on and that my deviation from protocol (whipping out a copy of the #MathsNewsletter from my sporran) didn’t result in banishment to the Tower!
