Five U.S. Coast Guard Sentinel-class fast-response cutters and two Avenger-class mine countermeasures (MCM) ships sail together in the Gulf of Oman, Nov. 3. The cutters are assigned to Patrol Forces Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA), the Coast Guard's largest unit outside of the U.S.

Introducing the new Commander in theatre for the UK Mine Countermeasures Force. After a successful handover from White Watch, Cdr Matt Ellicott hopes to have a successful deployment embarked in RFA Cardigan Bay, leading our Mine Warfare Units on operations in the Arabian Gulf.

Was great to get out to Bahrain 🇧🇭 last week and see Commander UK Mine Countermeasures Force ships HMS Middleton and HMS Chiddingfold, where I presented awards to some of the sailors for their hard work.
