My daughter asked for a fairy themed cake for her 9th birthday party and I made her this. I’m quite proud of myself!

I had a full circle moment today while taking my daughter to see Joseph the Musical. It was the first musical I saw aged 11 & it kickstarted my passion for musical theatre (my signed programme below!). Taking my 8-year-old today was an utter joy. I found it quite emotional at times!

Today marks my 18-year anniversary of working at The Stage. I feel very lucky to be in a job where I can write about something I genuinely love! I’ve seen countless shows, interviewed idols and made great friends in theatre. It remains a joy!

Couldn’t set up the Easter egg hunt before daughter woke this morning so somehow managed to hide the eggs in the house & garden (under the guise of hanging out washing) while she watched TV. She was BOWLED away when she saw the rabbit footprints as if they’d appeared by magic! 😍

Today the multi-talented Gloria Estefan has announced that her new musical, Basura, written with daughter Emily will premiere next year Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, directed by Michael Greif. I cannot wait to see this!! Road trip, anyone?!
