Somebody like - similar to calm down this one in that the Bass is coming from the modular synth. There’s a straight bass line then another sequence making the bass lurch out in moments #timstwitterlisteningparty

don’t you ever sleep - LH fell in love with my moog rogue on this record and its all over this tune. Its one of my fav synth too. its doing the Bass and chorus line. #timstwitterlisteningparty

never enough - we did the record in quite a few small chunks and this was one of the later sessions. its a bit different to the rest of the record but can see LH doing more like this #timstwitterlisteningparty

sometimes i wish - love john’s guitar on this tune. its like jon spencer is guesting on an lcd tune #timstwitterlisteningparty

real thing - got a bit busy on the modular synth on this one. Think its doing the bass and that resonant hi hat sound in the verse. i just figured out how to do that so i had to immediately put it on someones record of course #timstwitterlisteningparty

human behaviour - probs my favourite from this record. sounds like The Ronettes doing a shoe gaze song. Steph was really into using my logan string machine which just adds a bit of lofi #timstwitterlisteningparty

commercials - really love the fake voice keyboard pad and vocoder in this one. it gives it a really weird feel. I guess we were listening to stuff like grandaddy or eels to get that strange mixture of trad song but strange feeling #timstwitterlisteningparty

people this place - I’m really into a good album track list and i really like having this one at the end. It would be more obvs to end on the last track but this one makes me feel like i’m listening to a gig and this is the encore #timstwitterlisteningparty
