Since big pharma pays off MD’s, how much do they pay them? Is it weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? Quarterly? A yearly lump sum? Also, how do they report that on taxes?

What are all of the duties expected of a clinic director? From patient care to admin and more Then based upon this, what salary should fair for all those duties and responsibilities?

How come bodybuilders demonize exercises at the end of their career instead of the effects of massive amounts of anabolic steroids?

The hypocrisy of the new association members commenting on as many APTA posts as they can while censoring and not allowing others to comment on their group’s posts

People who say that barbell squats are bad are just trying to make sure they always have a squat rack available for them to squat or do bicep curls in

Matt_the_PT (@matt_the_pt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Looks like the new strategy is to start saying a certain exercise isn’t “functional” as a way to increase your social media engagement Just saw a former trainer/PT saying bilateral squat has no functional use to start arguments

Do any MD’s watch a pharmaceutical commercial and say “heck yea, first thing tomorrow I’m prescribing that to everyone!”

I remember as a kid all the things the adults around me said about what to do for my future. So many of them were absolutely wrong & it makes me think will history repeat for the next generation? Why the next generation shouldn't listen to us youtu.be/I8SLqSjfGl4?si… via YouTube

My theory why reimbursement for PT went down is PT companies in the 90’s valued quantity over quality. Listening to older PT’s talk about how they could do whatever for treatment with subpar documentation and got paid great is what made me reach that

The NCAA tournament reminds me how bad people are at predicting the future so anytime I hear someone’s projections on something, a very good chance they are going to be wrong

The counter to PT’s using the title Dr is that “patients will be confused”. But legitimately, what is the drawback? We’re not writing prescriptions or stepping outside our scope of practice. Honestly, what would be the drawback to it in terms of patient confusion?

When seeing people make “predictions” on the future of PT, remember there are expert sports and financial analysts who are wrong more than they are right

I’ve had at least 1 person a day say their MD told them to stop exercising or not do any strength training for absolutely no reason and there are no contraindications to exercise

It really a good look for the upta when they have a board member acting like this when someone makes a comment they don’t agree with.

I think the answer to the reimbursement and wages issues in PT must lie with the business bros because they apparently have the answers to keeping clinics full and driving sports cars while working 3 hours a day
