Phenomenal presentation by UCSF Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellow Kayla Karvonen presenting data on experiences of discrimination by parents and providers in the NICU. Providers report witnessing & experiencing racism more than parents, for complicated, important reasons that need more investigation!
