Men's and women's basketball ranked. A combined 5 wins against ranked opponents in football and both basketballs. Soccer made the sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. 3 field/court storms in Nashville. It has been a SPECIAL year for the Commodores, to say the least.

Chris Mañon exits to scattered applause and some standing ovations after a stellar first few minutes of play. Probably the best he’s looked in the Black and Gold this year. 5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block.

Another ranked win at home for Vanderbilt and a nice bounce back after back-to-back losses. Chris Mañon (16 points) was huge in this one as the ‘Dores staved off a late Ole Miss run.

'Dores win! A much-needed bounce back victory for Vanderbilt at home despite a comeback push from Ole Miss. Malik Dia did what he could in his "revenge game" with 22 points and 7 rebounds on 8-12 shooting, but the Rebels came up short. Next up: A visit to College Station.

Tyler Nickel's shooting and a lunchpail attitude got Vanderbilt it's first road win since Jan. 4. More from the Commodores' sensational upset over No. 12 Texas A&M and what it means for their NCAA Tournament chances. From Vandy Hustler Sports: vanderbilthustler.com/2025/02/27/men…

This has truly been a historic year for Vanderbilt sports. We are all witnesses. For a school that's oft been considered to be toward the bottom of the Southeastern Conference in terms of revenue sports, not too bad.

As of now, Joe Lunardi has Vanderbilt comfortably off the bubble in his latest Bracketology. The Commodores find themselves as a 9-seed in the South Region of the bracket, which would line them up to play in Lexington in the first round. Not too far of a drive from Nashville...

That’s why you pay AJ Hoggard. Dude just dominated winning time - 7 points and 2 assists in OT - and earned VU their 3rd straight ranked win. Doesn’t get better than a March 1st whiteout featuring some onions from Tyler Nickel. 20-9!

Final/OT: Vanderbilt 97, No. 14 Missouri 93 The Commodores are now almost certainly a lock to go dancing. Absolutely electric environment tonight in Memorial. AJ Hoggard and Chris Mañon starred in the victory, each contributing 20+ points and some big time plays in overtime.

The last time both Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball made the NCAA Tournament in the same season, I was 12 years old That means current Vandy Hustler Sports Editor Aiden Rutman had not been born yet

Vanderbilt is now considered a lock for the NCAA Tournament, per Joe Lunardi 🔒 There are two games left in the regular season, and the SEC tournament is still yet to come. What is this team's ceiling in terms of seeding?

Here's what should have been said and done a year and a half ago. Instead Jewish students had to experience in the 2020's what their grandparents experienced in the 1930s.
