Congratulations to @ProfFarahKC and also to Folger Shakespeare Library! And also congratulations to Shakespeare’s Globe for helping to develop such a fabulous Shakespeare expert.

I love this joke, like a short circuit between Mustian’s small neighbourhood world and the pro theatre she is (we argue) consciously emulating. And surely she has at least heard of Hamlet, a big success now 10 years old. V much Eoin Price territory.

Could a text thought to be by #Shakespeare’s father actually be his sister’s writing? 🔓 Matthew Steggle’s recent History Matters is free to read for the next 7 days buff.ly/4cieSm4

This is really good - an evocative story told through clever, dogged detective work, feeding a subtle, even-handed discussion of the narratives around archival discovery. Fabulous stuff from @ZacharyLesser and Whitney Trettien.

Morbid and bizarre q: anyone know of any renaissance images which show an explosion, ideally one with body parts flying off in all directions? It’s for The Marlowe Society of America at Deptford, unsurprisingly…

Heading home from #marlowe24. Only regret is not getting to say hello properly to tweeps inc Rachel Willie, @earlymodatLancs , and Eoin Price. Footsore, underslept, and enthused. Congratulations to the organisers.
