Bear in mind that almost all of the emission reductions achieved has been via LULUCF (land use, land use change and forestry) ie we stopped clearing land and our timber industry. This was a one off, it can’t be done again. Outside of LULUCF there has been basically no change.

It seems that LULUCF is going to be required to do a lot of heavy lifting in the future. ie repurposing ag land.
