Finally, some light shed on the biochemistry of NAD-ME C4 #photosynthesis. The notorious heteromer NAD-ME selectively forms the C4 decarboxylase by association with regulatory subunit while housekeeping function is performed with a C3-like subunit. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
