Anyone know of any open-access intra- or inter-personal emotion regulation training materials, ideally tested in RCTs, available to inform research? Perhaps Professor Carolyn MacCann Karen Niven @davidjholman Sarah A. Walker @springstabea Dr. Jenn Veilleux or clinical psychs out there?

New article led by my amazing PhD student Miguel Ibaceta and with @davidjholman about what people mind-wander about in daily life. It turns out, work occupies our thoughts more than we might expect! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

That’s it! What I’ve learned is that—perhaps unlike MTurkers—Prolific participants want to be treated as collaborators in science, not only as workers who get paid by the minute. My studies will look different from now on, and I hope you found this thread useful 😊 9/9

Happy to have presented our work on mindfulness with Francisco Villalón at the European Academy of Occ Health Psychology (EAOHP) conference in Granada! It compared a MF intervention to an equivalent one! The conclusion: MF intervention improves WB in the long term! Benefits of other interventions fade over time…

The univariate approach dominates meta-analytic structural equation modeling (#MASEM). Suzanne Jak and I showed that the standard errors and test statistics are highly biased. We also showed better methods to do it. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11…

The informal poll results are in, & as I feared, most people are running ANOVAs in #R with functions that can give highly misleading (or flat out wrong) results. Follow along to see why using anova() and aov() is usually inadvisable & why you should be using car::Anova() 🧵
