Hawaiian concepts of wellbeing are different from Eastern meditation and Western psychology traditions. In Lomi lomi, wellbeing is based on the relationship with yourself, others, and your environment. It provides an easy path for finding your natural self.

3 Hawaiian concepts that changed my life: 1. Ho’o ponopono: making things right and finding natural balance. 2. Holo holo: a journey without a destination. Enjoy being off-duty. 3. Kinaole: doing the right thing, for the right reason, for the right person, at the right time.

If something feels off, or heavy, or not right...sense where or who it came from. There's likely a lesson to learn as you follow the emotional tension back to its source.

There’s a difference btw using meditation to escape the moment, hoping for a peak spiritual experience and practicing to build a foundation that gives you a more enjoyable lens to look at the world with. Each session doesn’t need to blow the doors off. They can build on each

Not all your ideas have to come to life right away. Prioritize the top ones and save the rest for later. You don’t have to tell every story as soon as it comes to you. Timing matters.

It’s more ethical to not be so serious all the time. Morality gets conflated with seriously following a code, but in reality seriousness isn’t always helpful. It’s a wet blanket, bringing down the energy. If you value helping others, being light hearted is more ethical.
