Started off my visit to #DRCongo listening and learning from United Nations colleagues, resource partners and Food and Agriculture Organization staff serving here. Today, we make our way to #Goma to see our agricultural work, meet the people we support and understand what more we can offer.

Conflict and climate extremes have displaced 7 MILLION people in #DRCongo. In IDP sites, we have to provide more than food aid. In North Kivu, Food and Agriculture Organization is helping start vegetable gardens with seeds, tools and water storage – bringing better nutrition and some income.

The humanitarian needs in Sudan are growing at an alarming rate. Urgent agricultural assistance is vital to boost food production, prevent famine and curb food insecurity levels. Every action counts. The people of Sudan must not be forgotten. #InvestInHumanity #KeepEyesOnSudan
