The Mayor's Annual Charity Concert is being held on 26th April 2025 at All Saints Church Carshalton. It is a fabulous event with incredible music from the Norwood Wind Ensemble & the Sing Out Sutton Choir. Tickets are available on the door & all proceeds will go to my 2 charities

I was privileged to attend the Operation Varcity Rhine Crossing 80th Commemoration Service. Operation Varsity is the largest single airborne operation in history. The service honours Johnny Johnson a veteran of the battle & a member of the Croydon Parachute Regiment Association

The Jack Petchey Foundation’s mission is to inspire young people to be the best they can be so It was an honour to recently attend the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Awards & to celebrate the incredible achievements of our young people & to hear their inspiring stories

Today we held a flag raising ceremony in Sutton High Street followed by a two minute silence to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Thank you to the local cadets units and local branches of the Royal British Legion for attending. #VEDay80

Madam Deputy Mayor was honoured to attend the 80th Anniversary VE Day celebrations at the Sutton Sea Cadets last night which also included giving out badges/certificates of promotion to cadets and berets for new entry cadets - a wonderful evening.

I was delighted to attend the celebration to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day in Trinity Square. The public open event included a displayed Spitfire plane, vintage market stalls and dance performances by Sutton Community Dance

Myself & Deputy Mayor attended the Sutton Sings Festival yesterday where we watched talented KS1 & KS2 choirs from local primary schools on a 'Song Journey' exploring songs related to transport & travel, accompanied by a live band of professional musicians.  A wonderful occasion

I recently attended the London Borough Mayors' Service at St Paul's Cathedral which was followed by a reception at Central Criminal Court. It was a wonderful occasion to meet the London Mayors
