Faf du Plessis has become the first player in T20 history to retire out in the 90s. He was on 91 off 52 balls when he being the captain decided to go off and let Donovan Ferreira take over for the last over power-hitting. #MLC2025

Imam Hussain's (Alaih Salam) struggle is a life lesson for all of us irrespective of any sect. He stood against tyranny, fought for truth, gave his head but not his hand. His legacy will live on forever. ❤️

South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder remained unbeaten on 264 at the close of play today in Bulawayo. It is the second-highest individual score on the opening day of a Test match. The record belongs to Don Bradman, who scored 309 runs against England in Leeds in 1930.

I am being biased here. Brian Lara is my all-time favourite batter. As cricketing royalty, he absolutely deserves to keep the crown for the highest individual score. Huge respect to Wiaan Mulder for not going after 400.

22 of these Tests without Bumrah were either in India, where most of the time they win with spinners, or against low-ranked Test teams.

Joe Root is the 18th man in Test history to be 99 not out overnight. Glad to inform all 17 before him went on to get a hundred the following day.

MI New York, after only one win in their first seven games, have reached the MLC final by winning four of their last five matches, including two eliminators. Peaking at the right time. #MLC2025

Pakistan regulars rarely play first-class and have very little exposure to red-ball cricket in England. Given they are scheduled to play 3 Tests in England next year, it totally makes sense to have Saud Shakeel in Shaheens team. I'd even put the likes of Naseem Shah in it.

MI New York win their second MLC title. A remarkable turnaround - after winning just one of their first seven games, they bounced back to win five of their last six, including two eliminators.

The cricket at Lord’s over the past few days was absolutely stunning. Eager to see Pakistan back there for a Test in 2026. Despite winning their last two Tests at the venue in 2018 and 2016, they haven’t played at Lord’s in seven years!

5 wickets for Mitchell Starc in just 2.3 overs, the quickest five-wicket haul in Test history. West Indies are 11-6 in Jamaica. #WIvAus

West Indies batters bagged 7 ducks in an innings, the first such instance in Test history. The team all out on 27, the second lowest total in Test history after 26 by New Zealand in 1955. A crazy day of cricket in Jamaica. #WIvAus
