wildest thing to me about parenting is you can call poison control and be like, "hi, i just found my toddler with a clorox bleach pen in their mouth and it's empty. what do i do?" and poison control is basically like, "do they seem fine?" like i could have called any boomer.

I know you keep saying you could make more in private industry but every time I turn around, you are still here. Is it because they’d make you show up to work and do your job in the private sector?

🥳Excited to share our new paper in its final form: rdcu.be/dI6Ci. If your research would benefit from intersectional tools (a way to target cells based on multiple features), then ConVERGD might be of interest. Doesn't need to be 🧠-related!

Feeling so unhinged as I try and teach the lab how to ground and denoise an ephys rig “LEDs are not our friend” “Unplug everything that doesn’t need power right now” “Try turning off the room lights” “Don’t move. Why is the noise lower when you stand like that”

If I had a nickel for every time a woman named Rosalind got neither the credit nor a Nobel Prize for her work, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
