It’s perfect soccer weather here at Wanderers Grounds. Tides vs Rapid coming up in less than 2 hours.

I ran back in the production truck to get feeling in my hands but came back out to witness Halifax’s first win of the season. What a wild final seconds, but what a moment for the Tides and their fans.

Crowd was amazing. A wet, cold night and they were cheering the entire time.

A surprise move here, but another NSL player earning a national team call-up. Boychuk represented Canada at the youth levels and did earn a senior team call-up in 2022, but hasn’t been capped with #CanWNT/#CanXNT.

Big move for Jade Rose, joining City on a 4-year deal after finishing her collegiate career with Harvard. I think this is a great signing for both club and player, although questions remain about the head coach position.

#CanWNT/#CanXNT will face a very different-looking USWNT on July 2. 19 of the 25 players on the roster have fewer than 10 caps.

Love seeing Chukwu get named here after a stellar showing at the U20 Champ. Also great to see Ward & Briggs continue to get looks Quinn is an interesting absence. They returned to the Rise after the last international window and they’re not listed with the other injured players
