We desperately need to do something about what constitutes a “journal” and what gets listed on pubmed

Sometimes I look at my people, the evidence nerds, science pedants, the rational voices of reason, then I look at the beautiful celebs selling snake oil, wellness influencers at tantric retreats, the medfluencers mixing COIs with their margaritas and I wonder Did I do this wrong?

We need to shed these pejorative terms that stand in the way of maximising influencer income May I suggest taking a leaf from Stephen Colbert's 'Truthiness' by suggesting 'Evidenciness' for medical products & supplements that FEEL like they should work but are unproven
