Today, EU Member States agreed on a negotiating mandate of the Council on #NGTs. After a long stalemate since the Commission proposal, CEJA welcomes this important step. Further arbitrations will be necessary during trilogues: patentability, opt-out measures, traceability…

Last week, CEJA delegates gathered for a wonderful seminar hosted by FJA and LLJ (CEJA members from Wallonia and Luxembourg). It brought together 40 young farmers from across Europe for study visits, but also for the crucial finalisation of CEJA’s position on the CAP post-2027.
