"Seeing that shadow swim up behind the boat, there's just nothing that can compare to that adrenaline rush" Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's Megan Winton & Chip Michalove recently came across an estimated 2,800-pound, 14-foot white shark "One of the best days of my life" bostonherald.com/2023/12/11/a-n…

Feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve as I wait for the first camera tag deployed on a white shark off South Carolina to download. Thanks to Chip Michalove for making it happen!

!!! Chip Michalove I think she’s following me

White shark LeeBeth’s motto has been “just keep swimming” since Chip Michalove & AWSC’s Staff Scientist, Megan Winton, tagged her with a SPOT tag & a camera tag on 12/8 off Hilton Head, SC. Her current pings are off the Gulf of Mexico! We will be sharing some camera tag video soon!

14ft Great White “LeeBeth” that we tagged off Hilton Head, SC just arrived in Pensacola, FL today. She’s swam over 1100 miles since Dec. She’s taken almost the same exact route that 15’ Grace took 3 yrs ago. So cool seeing where they go. Megan Winton Atlantic White Shark Conservancy

Atlantic White Shark Conservancy This is LeeBeth off SC, just before we tagged her. You can see Megan Winton hand reaching for the fin for scale.

Went 1 for 2 on great whites on my first trip back in a while. Had a big one throw the hook 10 yards from the boat, then landed this little 9 footer an hour later. She got a satellite tag and Megan Winton put a camera tag on her that’s recording her routine.

Looks like white shark ‘LeeBeth’ has made it to Canada. Since she was tagged by Chip Michalove and Megan Winton she’s proven to be an international traveler visiting 3 countries 🇺🇸🇲🇽🇨🇦. Where will she go next? You can follower her on the Sharktivity app.

White shark ‘LeeBeth’ has clearly made her choice and moved well into the Gulf of St. Lawrence. She’s currently between the Magdalen Islands and PEI. Follow her travels on the Sharktivity app. #GreatWhiteNorth

For the first time in the Atlantic, a team of research scientists attached a camera to a baby white shark off the coast of New York City—in order to study them. David Muir reports on the groundbreaking study featured in NatGeo's newest documentary. trib.al/vazz3nC
