Fantastic to have the @ThermalErgLab honours students (Megan Tiong & Jarrod) back in the lab piloting their research projects. Great to have things up and running again after a very disrupted year of lab work!

Big thank you to @mt_topham and the UC team for hooking us up with temp pills at late notice (and James Smallcombe for the connect). It was great to visit too!

Today we celebrated the hard work of Sydney Health teachers and faculty in graduation! They’ve all made a huge impact on me, especially Dr Che and Tim English who inspired (Tim) and coordinated (Che) my honours adventure.

🌡️ In July 2023, 80% of the earth’s population would have experienced abnormally hot temperatures. In BBC StoryWorks series #TheClimateandUs, Prof Ollie Jay discusses the increasing concern of extreme heat and how Heat and Health Research Incubator is helping the physiologically vulnerable.

Well done on a huge two years of data collection Nethangie Ranhotty and James Smallcombe…and congrats on finishing your first participant trial (of many) @jakemccahon. If anyone knows how to get confetti out of a fan, let me know!

If anyone needs a place for good feed tonight, Hermann's at University of Sydney is hosting a good time (Pubtalks). You might just catch me presenting on thermal sensors too!
