What a finale! Today marked our last day on the road with Jack Meggitt-Phillips, reaching over 400 students at our final two stops & closing out an unforgettable tour across Northumberland. Huge thanks to the schools, teachers & students, and Hexham Book Festival for making it possible!

V excited to captain at The Big Children’s Book Quiz on Fri. Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, and featuring LOTS of fab authors. Waterstones Piccadilly, London Farshore. Categories must involve ‘Famous Waistcoats’ and ‘The Films of Hugh Grant’ otherwise I’m stuffed. waterstones.com/events/big-chi…

I had a FABULOUS time at the Waterstones Piccadilly, London Big Quiz last night, hosted with swagger and aplomb by Alexander Armstrong. In hindsight, forcing my team to name themselves ‘And the winner is…’ was a mildly overconfident strategy. I have spent much of the day sobbing.

Clem Fatale Has Been Betrayed is a fiendishly funny, ferociously fast-paced adventure, filled with lovable misfits & loathsome villains. It’s 1951 & Clem’s the youngest crook in the city. Can she find her father before it’s too late? Snag this rip-roaring ride, 2025. Eve Wersocki Morris.

The beast and I cannot wait to spread mischief, mayhem and malevolence at this year’s EmiratesLitFest. Join us to create beasts, write stories, and perfect the art of the evil laugh. Feb 2nd, 2.30, eat you there! litfesttickets.emirateslitfest.com/addtocart/the-…

And Then, And Then, What Else? is a ferociously funny, generous, and downright inspiring look at the life and craft of being a writer and a reader. A thousand bravos, Daniel Handler!

This Sunday, the beast and I shall be at Cardiff Castle running The Villain’s Showdown Cardiff Children's Literature Festival. A creative writing workshop with puppetry, villainy, and much evil laughing. Would be a diabolical delight to see you there. Farshore. cardiffcastle.com/events/cclf-ja…

Well, Cardiff Children's Literature Festival you were a bogging delight. The beast I shall henceforth ONLY conduct events in the dungeons of castles. Beastliest of thanks to everyone who came!

This Saturday, the beast I can’t WAIT to take part in Beckenham’s Books in the Park Festival festival Come for the puppetry and evil laughter competition, stay for the threat of being eaten alive by your hosts Farshore. All children welcome :) Delish tix… ticketsource.com/books-in-the-p…

After a highly entertaining evil laughter competition, Jack Jack Meggitt-Phillips has classes from 7 schools creating a villainous story character. Thanks to St Paul's School for hosting Barnes BarnesKidsLitFest Primary Schools Programme. #ReadingForPleasure #Volunteering Farshore

Such thrill to attend the The Carnegies ceremony. Worthy winners and sparingly powerful speeches galore. Also bumped into an old friend at the theatre who’s apparently a dab hand with a hammer.
