As we consider the bipartisan gun safety bill today, I joined Marylanders from Moms Demand Action & Everytown to thank them for their tireless advocacy & mark this progress. We know this is a long journey. But every step forward is a meaningful step on which we will continue to build.
When docs who support #lgbtq kids & families (like my colleagues at Boston Children's) are harassed online, we become at immediate threat of violence against us & our families. I’ve had death threats mailed to me. This is not the America I believe in. Stand up against hate.
