We recently completed our 1-year survey of the Living Seawall in Plymouth. Loads of life on the panels: seaweeds, periwinkles, limpets, barnacles, crabs. And also a funky newcomer - the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis. University of Plymouth Living Seawalls Natural Environment Research Council

Have you already spotted our Living Seawalls exhibit at Portland Square? Many thanks to the excellent Estates & Trade team University of Plymouth for installing these panels. And a big 'thank you' to all sponsors. University of Plymouth Alumni RECLAIM Network Plus Natural Environment Research Council Midlands3D Living Seawalls

So excited to see the Boston Living Seawalls are in! Can't wait to see what jebyrnes (he/him) and his team at UMass Boston find through their ecological monitoring and evaluation!

The walls of Boston Harbour are being brought to life by 2021 Earthshot Finalist, Living Seawalls in collaboration with Stone Living Lab. These panels mimic natural marine environments, transforming what once were inhospitable flood defences into thriving ecosystems.
