Tragic but important that our research on bullying & harassment was the most read opinion piece of the year - so much more work to do here with my brilliant colleagues Melissa Nisbett @EmmaMcDoofus and we’re committed to doing it

Fascinating overview of current topics of arts governance covered in the forthcoming Routledge Books Companion, including my chapter on abusive leadership coauthored with Melissa Nisbett & @EmmaMcDoofus #AIMAC2024

As a lifelong Labour voter, I'll be voting @E17Green in Walthamstow. The reason? Labour's stance on Gaza; lack of bold vision/leadership on climate; no comprehensive plan to invest in public services; and expelling progressive candidates like Faiza Shaheen cc. stellacreasy

Oh and Labour's stance on immigration. stellacreasy, with all of your great work with child refugees in Calais, are you comfortable with the idea of a 'Border Security Command' and Starmer's 'send them back' rhetoric?

🌱 I've never heard so many people saying they're voting Green in Sheffield for a general election 📈 I've never seen projections place Greens so high in #Sheffield Central! 🗳️ Together we can elect the amazing Angela Argenzio as the first Green MP in the North! #GetGreensElected

So Keir Starmer wrote an op-ed for Attitude Magazine - but in light of events since it landed in our inbox I felt it couldn’t run without context or qualification. It’s not all bad, but he has to know that leaving our trans family behind is not an option. attitude.co.uk/news/keir-star…

Massive congratulations to The Green Party on a historic result. Its new MPs will be a great asset to Parliament.

Really striking stellacreasy voted with the Labour Party against removing two child benefit cap. At the election in Walthamstow, Labour went down 16% and The Green Party went up 16%. There's 40 places where Greens are in 2nd place to Labour & we'll see you at the ballot box.

Non-disclosure agreements, gag orders, payouts and sudden departures. This aligns with findings from Melissa Nisbett Ben Walmsley and @EmmaMcDoofus, and my upcoming research - it is definitely time to examine culture in Australia's arts organisations. smh.com.au/culture/music/…

The new UK Soft Power Council has been set up in response to a volatile world at a time when democracy is in peril. So thinks Melissa Nisbett thinks it would be a strange decision to allow the British Council to die. buff.ly/3CYOUHZ

Excellent article in Arts Professional on #softpower by Melissa Nisbett of King's College London noting its centrality to UK foreign policy, while also underlining that "a British Council in retreat is a blow to the UK." artsprofessional.co.uk/magazine/featu…
