Day 1 of QAIHC_QLD's #RealInQld2025 #IndigenousHealth saw powerful discussions of self-determination, community control, and culture, amid continuing struggles to work within unequal partnerships, lack of investment, and institutionalised racism.

QAIHC_QLD It heard an update on #ClosingTheGap from Selwyn Button, a Gungarri man and Productivity Commission Commissioner, who talked (lack of) progress, accountability, data and the urgent need to act on priority reforms, otherwise won’t shift targets.
