Quite why we’ve put the director of elective recovery seemingly in charge of strike preparation is somewhat mysterious. Previous strikes it was the medical director for NHS England and director for urgent and emergency care. Triage, life and limb first. Via weekends and leave

Hey resident doctors, remember this: You owe the NHS nothing You owe the public nothing You owe the Trusts nothing You worked hard to become highly qualified and skilled professionals, it was all you You are owed a fair wage and NOT a pay cut! Same for consultants Strike hard

It appears both Jim Mackey & Wes Streeting are threatening Resident Doctors with ‘detriment’ as a result of a legal strike They need to check the law More importantly negotiate a better pay deal with commitment to pay restoration or if they are unable, ask ACAS Wes Streeting

NHS leaders & Government have used the previous strikes as a reason for their failure Don’t let them get away with this The Doctors, Nurses & other NHS staff should not be paid less than previously A motivated staff is a productive one, something our leaders have forgotten

Three things to know about the doctors strikes 1. Even with the 29% increase, doctors are STILL earning less than they did in real terms in 2008 2. Wes Streeting is paying doctor's assistants, MORE than he is paying doctors 3. My cleaner and most of my friends who have

PAAs still insist on introducing themselves as Associates. My trust is also refusing to reinforce the changes across the board!

Solidarity with the BMA. The last thing they're doing is "undermining the Trade Union movement". They're resisting a race to the bottom. theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

UK Lockdown 🏠💙😷💉 Department of Health and Social Care Wes Streeting NHS England Resident doctors have had a far steeper decline in real terms earnings compared to the average worker. The blame for this lies with successive Governments who have kicked the can down the road.

Thank you to all who came out to our Picket Line at St Thomas’ Hospital today! 🪧 🧑🏻‍⚕️👩🏿‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️🪧 Great turnout and a real energy in reaction to an alleged government desire to “break” doctors! 💪🏼 You’ve picked the wrong fight and galvanised doctors with your rhetoric, Mr Streeting.

Yes doctors working 48 hours a week, including nights and weekends, are doing about 70 extra days work a year. And we ARE paid for it. You got us! Nobody gets anything past Gav, eh? If you’d rather we didn’t do those hours, we have a mandate to withdraw them until January

‘The only thing we can do is to continue to fight for what we deserve.’ Doctors on the picket line in Birmingham today tell Ben Jaxen Ireland of their frustrations and their rationale for striking. They say proposals by the health secretary 'don't go far enough' - and urge him

I was at the London picket today. Wes Streeting was nowhere to be seen. While doctors showed up in strength, he was nowhere to be found; refusing to acknowledge that moving a doctor from £18.62/hr to £22.67/hr over time is entirely reasonable. He wasn’t there to answer why

Doctors are asking to be paid the same you were. If you thought you were paid too much over your lifetime, you can donate here: bmastrikefund.raisely.com
