Magistral phage preparation according to the Belgium model of phage therapy is being discussed by the Portuguese government. Joana Azeredo and Diana Priscila Pires were at the parliament to present the concept as a result of a petition initiated by two patients who received phage therapy.

I'm super proud of my first PhD student, Rute Ferreira, who has officially graduated! It was an honor to work with you over the past years, and I am certain you have a bright future ahead. A big thank you to Ceu Figueiredo and Joana Azeredo for sharing this journey with me!
