Jeremy has finished part of his (self-designed!) thesis project. He brought together the strengths of Harmit S. Malik and my lab to unpack the intricacies of the integrin I domain through structural & evolutionary analysis. Read more on bioRxiv or in his delightful tweetorial below:

Next up, file under shenanigans: LOOK at the pumpkins the lab carved/engineered/sculpted for the annual @FredHutch contest. Took the 'most artistic' for the 3rd year running 🥇🎃🎡🍿 Congrats to the team & all participants!

Congrats to Matthew C. Chan, who received an NIH-funded interdisciplinary grant for the work he's doing to provide a molecular understanding of ribosome stalling in cancer! Matthew is kind, cheery, and collaborative & his co-mentor Subramaniam Lab & I are thrilled he's in our labs!🎉
