Mentone Grammar staff and Frogmore (Year 10 – 12) students proudly participated in the Midsumma Pride March on Sunday 4 February in St Kilda, celebrating diversity and inclusivity within our school and the wider community. 🌈

It was historic as we celebrated our school's founding with the traditional cake cutting, using Colonel Charles Weir's sword. We also commemorated Andy Müller's formal commissioning as Principal by The Most Reverend Dr Philip Freier, Archbishop of Melbourne.

Well done to the 17 students from Years 5 –12 and one staff member who participated in the 'Shave for a Cure' event on Friday 15 March, supporting the Leukaemia Foundation. To date, the MG 'shavers team' has raised $11,139 in donations, with some funds still to be collected.

Mentonian Claudia Hollingsworth (Class of 2023) has been officially selected for Australia's Olympics team at Paris 2024! Claudia secured her spot by winning the 800m national title in Adelaide, clocking a PB of 1:58.40, one of the fastest 800m races ever witnessed in Australia.

On Wednesday 24 April 2024, Mentone Grammar held a special Foundation to Year 12 school assembly to honour ANZAC Day. The assembly aimed to reflect on the selflessness and courage displayed by individuals who have served our nation during times of war and civil unrest.

SENIOR MUSICAL | GREASE! We were absolutely amazed by the incredible talent showcased in this year's Senior Musical – Grease, held from 21 to 24 August 2024!

Our Foundation students celebrated 100 days of school on Wednesday 14 August 2024. To mark the occasion, they dressed up as their 100-year-old selves and enjoyed a variety of fun learning activities with their families.

In recognition of R U OK? DAY (Thursday 12 September 2024) our students and staff wore a splash of yellow to highlight the importance of reaching out, checking in, and supporting one another.

What a fantastic time we had at our Book Week Parade on Friday 23 August! Our ELC to Year 6 students and staff showcased some seriously funky costumes! Everyone's enthusiasm added an extra spark to the event, especially as they danced down the parade route.

Principal Andy Müller, proudly announced at a special assembly the appointment of Ruby Appel, Helena Scott, Darcy Hodgson-Melrose, and Julian Lau as the School's Head Prefects for 2025. We join in congratulating them on this honour and wish them well for the year ahead

Our Foundation students had an exciting day with local firefighters! 🚒 The class enjoyed hands-on fun with the fire hose and loved climbing into the fire truck! A huge thanks to our Fire Department for educating and inspiring our little ones!
