At 18, Jordyn Zimmerman’s world opened up when she got hold of a communication app on an iPad for the first time. She is a nonspeaking autistic woman, and hadn’t been able to use her voice to the fullest until then. Now, she is a fierce advocate for others with disabilities.

Grateful to be able to share my story on CBS Mornings about how accessible technology such as iPad, continues to enable opportunities. It is my hope that by sharing my own journey, more people are able to gain access to the communication tools they need. cbsnews.com/video/nonspeak…
