We are only two weeks into the new academic year and we've already had our first school trip! Sixth formers went to the Houses of Parliament to learn more about government and politics. They also met their local MP for Gravesham to discuss the issues that matter to them.

Meet Kaitlyn Y, in Miss Orange's Y7 form. Kaitlyn did the Twilight walk to honour her nanny, walking 8km + raising over £100 for Ellenor Hospice. Kaitlyn's mum says life changed when she lost her nanny but Kaitlyn doesn't let anything hold her back and is now thriving at Meopham.

Open Evening has started! Come and discover our wonderful village school, get a tour from our students and even sample some of our delicious school dinners. 5pm - 8pm.

Let's take a moment to say a big thank you to all the staff (those that are pictured and those that are not) who went above and beyond to make Open Evening such a special event. With creative activities in every department, visitors got to see the absolute best of Meopham School

Thank you to our child centred policing team from Kent Police who gave assembly talks to students today. We learnt about the importance of being active bystanders; people who report concerning behaviour and so keep others safe.

What a night for PE! The basketball club were treated to a visit to the Copperbox to watch the London Lions in action. Thanks goes to the PE department who work so hard arranging clubs and fixtures like this, for students to enjoy.

Look at these incredible 3D sculptures from Year 10 which have been inspired by Natural Forms. Such creativity!

All students observed Remembrance Day today. Mr Goldsmith played The Last Post to signal our 2min silence. Albie S in Y11 read the poem, In Flanders Fields. Students who are serving cadets were invited to wear their uniforms with pride, as shown by Otis HK in Y9. Lest we forget.
